The basics
- What is Scam With Your Friends?
- A co-op comedy simulation game for PC. You and your friends run a fictional scam call center in Kolkata, India, talk to AI-driven callers in real time and try to hit a daily money quota before your boss fires the team.
- Who makes it?
- It is developed by JakeHub and Metater and published by their label Jatater Worldwide. The same team made Airport Security Sucks! and IM LOOPY FOR DOOP LOOPS!!!
- Is it a real game?
- Yes. It has an official Steam page (app 4954910) and passed 100,000 wishlists on September 23, 2026.
- Is it about scamming real people?
- No. Every caller is a fictional character driven by AI. No real people are contacted, and the game is a dark comedy, not a how-to.
Release, price and access
- When does it come out?
- Early Access is planned for October 2026. No day has been announced. The full release is targeted for mid-December 2026.
- How much will it cost?
- The price has not been announced. The developers expect the same price in Early Access and at full release.
- Is there a demo?
- No public demo. There is a closed playtest whose signups are currently shut.
- How do I get playtest access?
- Signups closed after more than 12,000 requests. Access is granted in waves, and each tester can invite up to three friends.

Playing the game
- Can you play solo?
- Yes. Single-player and online co-op are both supported.
- How many players does co-op support?
- The maximum has not been announced. An official screenshot shows eight players in one session.
- Do I need a microphone?
- The game is built around speaking to callers and is tagged Voice Control on Steam. Whether a typing-only option exists has not been stated, so plan on a microphone.
- Does it need an internet connection?
- Yes, in every mode. The AI conversations run live.
- Do I have to pay for the AI?
- Not in the full game, which includes unlimited AI. During the playtest there are free credits and an optional $8 Unlimited AI purchase.
- Can I mod the game?
- Yes. The developers describe it as heavily moddable, with custom caller personalities made from JSON files and voice cloning WAV files.

- What platforms is it on?
- Windows on Steam only. No Mac, Linux, console, mobile or Roblox version is announced.
- What are the system requirements?
- 64-bit Windows 10/11, Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600, NVIDIA GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD RX 580, 3 GB RAM, DirectX 11, 5 GB storage and broadband internet.
